Today on my IPOD

After the eighth great song came on this morning I had to stop what I was doing to share what my ipod had set up for my morning so far. just when i thought i had nothing interesting to offer from the music i already own, this happened:

deathcab for cutie -- fake frowns
phoenix -- second to none
justin timberlake -- my love
hooverphonic -- someone
afro cuban all stars -- amor verdadero
m. ward -- who may be lazy
the anniversary -- outro in no minor
death cab for cutie -- no joy in mudville

I'll link to these in a bit when comcast gets their heads out of their asses and my internet grows a pair. For now, Justin.. for your viewing pleasure. He is almost as cute as my husband.

Hey Look

I think I'm an author now! Lets see what happens.

Also, I love Nenah Cherry. They used to play that song -- and other great 80's dance music -- at the Artful Dodger on Saturday nights. Anyone remember that bar in Wicker Park/Bucktown? I looooooved that place.

How about Friday April 15th? I think if at least three of you can come I'll just have the rest send me a cd. Do you ever get a song in your head from childhood? I did this morning...
